We welcome you to begin your child's educational journey at The HD Foundation School, where we build strong foundations for young minds. Admissions are now open for Pre-Nursery through Class V.
Admission Procedure
Our admission process is designed to be simple, transparent, and supportive, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for both parents and students.
Initial Enquiry
- Parents may contact the school through phone, email, or the online enquiry form
- Receive complete information regarding classes, curriculum, and availability
- Schedule a visit to the school campus at a convenient time
Campus Visit
- Guided tour of the school campus and facilities
- Interaction with the admissions team
- Opportunity to observe the learning environment and classroom practices
- Clarification of queries related to academics and student life
Application Submission
- Collect and complete the Admission Form (online or from the school office)
- Submit the required documents:
- Birth Certificate
- Previous school records (if applicable)
- Passport-size photographs
- Address proof
- Medical information (if required)
Interaction Session
- Informal, age-appropriate interaction with the child
- Discussion with parents to understand the child’s background and learning needs
- Assessment of readiness for the school environment (where applicable)
Admission Confirmation
- Issue of the official admission confirmation
- Completion of fee formalities
- Orientation session for parents and students
- Distribution of school kit and academic schedule
Admission Requirements
To ensure a smooth and transparent admission process, parents are requested to meet the following requirements at the time of application.
Age Criteria
- Admissions are granted as per the age norms applicable for each class
- The child must meet the minimum age requirement at the time of admission
Required Documents
Parents must submit the following documents along with the completed admission form:
- Birth Certificate (issued by a competent authority)
- Previous school records / Transfer Certificate (for applicable classes)
- Recent passport-size photographs of the child
- Address proof of parents / guardians
- Medical information or health records (if required)
Interaction & Assessment
- An age-appropriate interaction session may be conducted with the child
- Parents may be invited for a discussion to understand the child’s background and needs
- Admission is based on readiness, availability of seats, and school guidelines

Digital & Device Policy
- Mobile phones are not allowed during school hours
- Use of digital devices only under teacher supervision
- Cyber safety and responsible internet usage education
- Strict action against sharing inappropriate content
- School-provided devices must be used for learning only
Health & Safety
- Mandatory immunization records
- Daily temperature checks
- Sick child policy: Stay home until fever-free for 24 hours
- Allergy management with proper documentation
- Emergency contact information must be current
Attendance Policy
- Minimum 80% attendance required for promotion
- Medical leave requires a doctor's certificate
- Leave applications must be submitted in advance when possible
