Admissions are taken from Nursery to Class X — Pre-Primary (Nursery, LKG, UKG), Primary School (Class 1–5), Middle School (Class 6–8) and Secondary School (Class 9–10).
For Nursery the child should be between 3.5 and 4.5 years, and for LKG between 4.5 and 5.5 years, as on 1st April. For the remaining classes, admissions are granted as per the age norms applicable for each class.
There is no formal written test. Children are invited for an age-appropriate interaction and school readiness activity that helps us understand their communication and language skills, early numeracy and concept awareness, general awareness, observation and reasoning, social interaction and confidence, and readiness to participate in a school environment.
For Classes I to V and Classes VI to X, the assessment covers English, Mathematics, Hindi and General Aptitude, followed by an Interaction.
For Classes I to V it is designed to understand the child’s foundational skills, conceptual understanding, language abilities, reasoning and readiness for the class applied for. For Classes VI to X it is intended to understand the child’s academic readiness, language skills, reasoning ability and overall learning level.
For Classes I to V, the Interaction is held with the child and parents so the school can understand the child’s interests, learning approach and overall readiness. For Classes VI to X, the Interaction is held with the child and/or parents, giving the school an opportunity to understand the child beyond academics.
The admissions department shares the date and details of the Admission Assessment and Interaction with you after your admission form is received. Please keep the contact number and email ID on the form up to date.
Admission is offered on the basis of the Admission Assessment, the Interaction and the availability of seats. For Kindergarten, it is based on the interaction, school readiness and availability of seats.
