General Information

The HD Foundation School admits students from Nursery to Class X and is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi, up to Class X. Registrations are open for the academic session 2026–27.
Admissions are granted as per the age norms applicable for each class. For Nursery the child should be between 3.5 and 4.5 years, and for LKG between 4.5 and 5.5 years, as on 1st April of the year of joining.
Mid-year admissions are also considered, subject to the availability of seats in the desired class.

Admission Assessment

Kindergarten

Children will be invited for an age-appropriate interaction and school readiness activity covering communication and language skills, early numeracy, general awareness, observation and reasoning, and social confidence. Admission is based on the interaction, school readiness and availability of seats.

Classes I to X

Students will appear for an Admission Assessment followed by an Interaction. The assessment covers English, Mathematics, Hindi and General Aptitude, and is designed around the level of the class being applied for.
The Interaction with the child and parents helps the school understand the child’s interests, learning approach and overall readiness. Admission is offered based on the Assessment, Interaction and availability of seats.

Registration Process

Follow these steps to complete your registration:

Fill in the details of the student and parents with the correct correspondence address, contact numbers and email IDs.
Upload a recent passport-size photograph of the child, and a scanned PDF or a clear photograph of each of the following documents. On a phone you can photograph them directly with the camera:

Birth Certificate of the Child — required
Aadhaar Card of the Child — required
Address Proof of Parent / Guardian — required
Report Card / Mark Sheet of the Previous Class — if applicable
Transfer Certificate / Previous School Records — if applicable
Medical Information / Health Records — if applicable

On submission you will receive a registration number on screen. The admissions department will contact you on the registered mobile number and email ID with the date and details of the Admission Assessment and Interaction.
